On Monday, Iraq's minister of agriculture Mohammed Karim Al-Khafaji met with Egypt’s ambassador Walid Ismail in Baghdad to discuss the wide-scale cooperation in the agriculture and livestock sectors.
In this regard, they underscored the prospects for agricultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries and discussed means to provide all aspects of technical support to them.
During their meeting on Monday afternoon, the Iraqi minister told the Egyptian ambassador that his country is looking forward to increasing and enhancing cooperation with Egypt.
In the same context, Al-Khafaji praised the strength of Egyptian-Iraqi political and economical relations.
Al-Khafaji also pointed out that cooperation between the two countries has already been facilitated on the margins of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s visit to Egypt in the last month.
