The Mediterranean Karate Federation agreed to grant Egypt the honor to organize the activities of the 2025 Mediterranean Championship after the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Mediterranean Federation.
Thus, in 2025, Egypt will organize three major tournaments: the Premier League in January, and the World Championship in November, while the date for the Mediterranean Championship will be determined at a later time.
Mohamed El-Dahrawi, the President of the Egyptian Karate Federation, affirmed that Egypt's achievement of the honor of organizing the Mediterranean Championship is due to its success in organizing various major tournaments during the recent period, to the point that it won everyone's confidence.
He added that the Egyptian Federation is ready to organize any tournament at any time, and this is evidence that the Board of Directors is fully prepared to organize any major tournament.
With regard to the elections of the Mediterranean Union, Bashir Al-Sharif was elected president, Muhyiddin Ahmed Muhammad as treasurer, and Essam El-Din Abdel-Raouf, member of the Executive Office.
