Egypt strongly condemned on Thursday the Houthi militia’s continuing systematic terrorist attacks against the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by Foreign Ministry.
The statement pointed out to Houthis' latest attempt to target civilian areas in Jazan through a number of ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones, which successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Arab Coalition forces.
Egypt reiterated its complete rejection of the continuation of these terrorist hostilities, which constitute a flagrant violation of the rules of international and humanitarian law and a direct threat to regional security and stability, the statement read.
Egypt also reaffirms its firm position in support of the Kingdom and the measures it takes to maintain its security and stability, the statement added.
