Egyptian's handball youth national team will clash against France in the semi-finals of Men’s Junior U21 World Championship on Saturday.
The game will be held later that day at 18:00 CLT, and it will be broadcast through the official website of the International Handball Federation.
Both teams were pooled in Group B alongside Australia, Nigeria, Sweden, and South Korea.
The Pharaohs ended their first clash against France in the group stage with a 37-32 victory.
They qualified for the last eight after pulling off a dramatic win over Serbia in the last 16 30-29.
Egypt made a historic comeback that will be remembered throughout the ages as the Pharaohs skyrocketed themselves to their sixth semi-finals after defeating Norway 29- 27 whereas France qualified for this stage after defeating Denmark 35-32.
The African champions are looking for re-writing the history after their impressive performance in this tournament as they pulled off seven victories against Australia, Nigeria, Sweden, South Korea, France, Serbia, and Norway.
The Pharaohs achieved the title one time before in the 1993 tournament, hosted by Egypt after they defeated Denmark in the final game.
The one-time title holders are seeking to end their 26-year wait for a World Championship title.
The national team reached the semi-finals five times before; in 1993, 1999, 2009, 2011, 2015.
The winner of this encounter will play against either Croatia or Portugal in the final on Sunday, July 28 at 20:00 CLT.
