Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture held the first edition of the "Culture Day" celebration at the Cairo Opera House.
During the event, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, honored a number of personalities who enriched Egyptian cultural life during 2024, and the list of honors included: "Honoring candidates from the committees of the Supreme Council of Culture, honoring candidates from syndicates, in addition to the names of the departed who Egypt lost during the year.
The list of candidates from the committees of the Supreme Council of Culture included: "Director Hani Khalifa, Director Ahmed Taha, Tarek Wali, Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nassef, Maestro Nayer Naji, Ahmed Darwish, Ibrahim Abdel Majeed, Sameh Mahjoub, Hussein Mahmoud, Hamed Eid, Mona Ali Al-Hadidi, Nahla Imam, Ziad Abdel Tawab, Hossam Lotfi, Alaa Abdel Hadi, Khaled Al-Qadi, Moushira Khattab, Ahmed Zakaria Al-Shalak, Nevin Massad, Mustafa Al-Nashar, Abdel Masih Semaan, Zain Abdel Hadi, Mona Mohamed Saeed Al-Hadidi, Mustafa Ragab."
The list of candidates from the syndicates also included: "Youssef Nofal, Mohamed Hassan Abdullah, Mahmoud Hamed, Abdel Aziz Al-Jundi, Yahya Al-Fakharani, Samir Al-Asfouri, Abdul Rahim Kamal, Marwan Hamed, Mustafa Kamel, Mohamed Mounir, Yassin Al-Tohamy, Intisar Abdel Fattah."
