Two Israeli tourists died and 7 others were injured in a traffic accident on the Nuweiba-Dahab road, in front of the entrance to Nuweiba port, on their way back from a vacation in Sinai.
Director of South Sinai Security department Sherif Raouf had received a report from the Nuweiba Operations Room stating that the tourist micro-bus had crashed in a van, which resulted in the death of Israeli tourists, Moshe Matan Luzon, 26 years, and Yuval Keshet, 24 years old, while 7 others sustained injuries ranging from cuts, fractures and bruises.

Reports said that the collision occurred at the beginning of the Al-Safidah area, where the tourist's micro-bus coming from Dahab, with the driver attempting to overtake another car, collided with the transport vehicle, which resulted in the death of the Israelis and the injury of 7 others who were returning from Dahab.
The injured were transferred to the urban center in Nuweiba, and the Public Prosecution office was notified to take over the investigation.
