Total number of livestock and animal (cow - buffalo -Sheep - goat - camel) reached 8.3 million 2022 versus 7.5 million in 2021, an increase by 10.0%.
Total number of slaughtered livestock reached 4.6 million heads in 2022, versus 4.2 million heads in 2021, an increase by 10.2 %.
Amount of meat resulting from slaughtered livestock reached 803 thousand tons in 2022, compared to 726 thousand tons in 2021, an increase by 10.6%.
Estimated weight of domestic production of raw milk, reached 6.7 million tons in 2022, versus 6.2 million tons in 2021, an increase by 8.2%.
Amount of birds & poultry meat reached 2.0 million tons (net- weight) in 2022, compared to 2.5 million tons (net -weight) in 2021, a decrease by 19.8%This is due to high feed prices.
Amount of eggs reached 15.3 billion eggs in 2022, compared to 16.4 billion eggs 2021, a decrease by 6.4%.
Amount of honey production reached 3.7 thousand tons in 2022,versus 4.2 thousand ton in 2021, a decrease by 10.8%.
