The head of the Duma Committee (the Russian Parliament) for International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, called for discussing Russia's withdrawal from the World Health Organization (WHO) after its decision on Ukraine and the West's efforts to make the organization a political tool in its hands.

"This was shown by the WHO's anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine, which was proposed by countries not friendly to Russia and full of double standards," Slutsky wrote on Telegram, according to Russia Today.

He added, "Russia is being blamed for the deteriorating health conditions in Ukraine, while the organization does not say a word about the failed policy of the Kyiv regime in vaccination and the experiments of military biological laboratories sponsored by Washington."

Slutsky confirmed that there is a substitution of concepts and a departure from the core of the real problems. He asked, "Is it worth recalling the position of the World Health Organization, which caused false pretexts to delay the registration of Russian vaccines against COVID-19?"

Today, the member states of the World Health Organization rejected a Russian draught resolution to declare a non-politicized health emergency, far from polarization in the Ukraine conflict.
