Dollar Rises 20 Piastres against Egyptian Pound by End of Trading

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound rose during Wednesday’s  transactions in  banks, with an increase ranging between 20 and 25 piastres over yesterday's transactions.

The US currency recorded EGP 48.33 to buy and EGP 48.47 to sell, as the lowest price among Egyptian banks at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), while it recorded the highest price in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) at EGP 48.62 to buy and EGP 48.72 to sell.

The dollar was traded in Suez Canal, CIB, Ahly United, and QNB at the level of EGP 48.55 to buy and EGP 48.65to sell.

In the Banque Misr, the dollar recorded EGP 48.56 to buy and EGP 48.66 to sell, while in the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) it recorded EGP 48.53 to buy and EGP 48.63 to sell.

The single European currency "euro" also recorded an increase against the Egyptian pound during today's trading, reaching EGP 52.57 to buy and EGP 52.76 pounds to sell, while the British pound recorded EGP 62.36 to buy and EGP 62.61 to sell by the end of trading.

The price of the Saudi riyal recorded between EGP 12.96 to buy and EGP 12.99 to sell, while the UAE dirham traded at EGP 13.24 to buy and EGP 13.27 to sell.
