The dollar price suddenly fell by about 37 piasters against the pound before the end of trading in 7 banks compared to mid-trading Wednesday, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The dollar jumped by about 13 piasters during mid-trading today to reach about 49.57 pounds in Abu Dhabi Bank and 49.53 pounds in the National Bank of Egypt - before reversing its direction and falling before the end of trading.
