The average price of the US dollar fell Wednesday in the banking sector against the Egyptian pound by about 37 piasters to record EGP 48.36 to buy and EGP 48.46 to sell, compared to EGP 48.73 to buy, and EGP 48.83 to sell.
As for the exchange rate of the US dollar at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), it declined by about 36 piasters at the buying and selling levels, to record EGP 48.35 to buy and EGP 48.49 to sell, compared to EGP 48.71 to buy and EGP 48.85 to sell.
The price of the US dollar in the Banque Misr recorded about EGP 48.42 to buy and EGP 48.52 to sell, while in the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) the exchange rate recorded EGP 48.40 to buy and EGP 48.50 to sell.
Meantime, the USD/ EGP recorded 48.35 to buy and 47.87 to sell at the parallel market, lower than the official fx rates.
