The price of the US dollar witnessed a decline Wednesday by about 16 piasters, as its average exchange rate recorded EGP 47.48 to buy, at the end of transactions in the local banking market.
The highest purchase price for the dollar recorded EGP 47.77 at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), followed by the Arab Investment Bank, which recorded EGP 47.70.
The price of the U.S. currency reached EGP 47.50 pounds to buy and EGP 47.60 to sell in most of the banking sector.
