Doha's Hamad Int'l Airport Wins “World’s Best Airport” Award

Hamad International Airport won the title of “Best Airport in the World” during the Skytrax World Airport Awards for 2024, as part of a group that included more than 500 international airports, whose activities were held at the Passenger Terminal Exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany.

It also won the title of “Best Airport for Shopping in the World” for the second time in a row and “Best Airport in the Middle East” for the tenth year in a row.

It is noteworthy that the airport recorded a noticeable increase in its passenger traffic by receiving more than 45 million passengers during the year, an increase of 31% compared to the previous year, which witnessed great momentum that accompanied the World Cup tournament hosted by Qatar in 2022.

It also provided its services to more than 250 destinations, including travel, air cargo and charter flights.
