Denmark has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 3.7 billion Danish kroner, which is equivalent to more than $522 million, according to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Danish Ministry of Defense detailed that this 13th aid package includes tanks such as IFV-2 and T-72, armored evacuation vehicles, ammunition, and drones.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Trine Bramsen, the Danish Minister of Defense, where both parties emphasized the enhancement of Ukraine's air defenses through the acquisition of modern fighter aircraft and new air defense systems.
They also discussed cooperation within the framework of the aircraft alliance and the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 aircraft, which Denmark and other partners are set to deliver to Ukraine.
