Sources in the Ministry of Health and Civil Defense in northern Syria said that the death toll from the earthquake had risen to 1,410.
The sources told the German Press Agency (DPA) that the death toll is 760 in the areas of northern Syria and 650 in the areas controlled by the Syrian government, while the number of wounded has reached 3,600, including 2,100 in the areas controlled by the opposition.
It is noteworthy that a devastating earthquake struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, leaving huge human and material losses.
