The White Knights qualified for the knock-out stage as Group A runner-up, while the defending champions reached the quarter-finals after topping their group.

It is worth mentioning that both Arab clubs are set to face each other in the CAF Super Cup, set to take place in Qatar on Friday, February 14.

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced Monday that tickets for the CAF Super Cup encounter were sold out.

Qatar’s capital, Doha, is set to host the Super Cup match for the second consecutive year as the Tunisian team will enter the game as the CAF Champions League holders, whilst the White Knights will play the match as the Confederation Cup champions.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the appointment of South African Victor Miguel de Freitas Gomes as the center referee for the game.

The White Knights managed to lift the CAF Confederation Cup title after defeating RS Berkane 5-4 on penalties.

On the other hand, ES Tunis won their second consecutive CAF Champions League trophy after defeating Wydad AC 2-1 on Aggregate.
