Damietta has won UNESCO's award of learning cities 2021, among other 10 cities around the world, Damietta governor Dr. Manal Awad announced on Saturday.
The listed cities were selected by an independent board of international experts and artists who are interested in the concept of continuing education.
During the celebration, the contributions made by the selected countries will be deeply reviewed. In addition, the official announcement will be hosted at the international conference in South Korea from October 27 to October 30.
The sessions of the conference will focus on the cities that are friendly to women empowerment, values, respecting them, improving their talents, and supporting their enterprises.
