The Egyptian Customs Authority resumed work on Sunday at the Authority’s General Bureau after the administration's security teams managed to contain a limited fire that broke out in a small warehouse at the Ministry of Finance headquarters.
The Customs Authority explained in a statement that the warehouse which turned into flames did not result in any human losses or material damage.
The authority praised the speedy response of the civil defense and their presence at the headquarters during the fire, saying that limited fires had been put out before their arrival.
