On Friday, the Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano participated in the opening of the 32nd Arab Music Festival and Conference.
Several officials attended the event like the Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti, and Former Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem.
During the opening of the edition that honors the iconic Sayed Darwish, Hano said that the festival unifies us, and celebrates our language and heritage. He also hailed the Egyptian musical heritage that dates back to thousands years.
He added that Arabic music is spirit and universe not just lyrics or tunes, asserting that Egypt presented thousands of musicians, lyricists, composers, and singers whose contributions played a vital role in protecting identity, and musical heritage.
