The Culture Minister Dr. Neven Al Kilany witnessed the opening of the 32nd Doha International Book Fair.
The guest of honor of this edition is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its activities will last until June 21.
More than 500 publishers, represented the 37 countries.
The General Book Authority represented Egypt in the event, and it introduces more than 500 releases for a number of veteran and iconic writers like Tharwat Okasha, Mahmoud Amin Al Alam, Foaad Hadad, and Gamal Al Ghitany.
Among the famous published books by the General Book Authority, they are "Elm El Nafs Wal Adab," "Taamolat Fi El Elm Wal Thaqafa," "Maqamat Badee Al Zaman Al Hamazany," "Malikar Misr," and many others.
