CAIRO, Mar. 17 (SEE)- The Ministry of Culture inaugurated the Pharaonic mural created by the General Organization of Culture Palaces, led by Dr. Ahmed Awwad.
The mural is on an area of 38 meters in Messala Square in the airport road. It represents Cleopatra, Sakhmat, Hathor, and Horus. It was made of artificial stone and mosaic.
It is also worthy of note that the team work, subjected to the Plastic Arts Sector, headed by Dr. Khaled Sorour, succeeded in restoring the bronze statue of Abbas Mahmoud El Akkad in front of " TV building" in Aswan Governorate.
The statue was made of bronze by Dr. Abdel Aziz Saab, and its height is about four or five meters. The maintenance was made on the granite base of the statue .
