Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, witnessed the ceremony in which Hoda Ibrahim Kanoo, founder of Abu Dhabi Troupe for Culture and Arts, delivered the award of Abu Dhabi Festival to the star Yahya Al-Fakhrani.
This came during the ceremony held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance in UAE, in the Small Opera Theater in the presence of Osama Heikal, Minister of Information and a constellation and an array of artists, media people and public figures.
Abdel Dayem declared that the award is a new episode in the series of the victories of the Egyptian creativity, on the regional and global scene, noting that Al-Fakhrani is an honorable model that the country is proud of as a prominent artistic statue.
On her part, Kanoo said that Al-Fakhrani has chosen the artistic carrier - the most difficult profession, believing that culture and arts are the main pillars of the renaissance of nations, adding that he has an exceptional talent that made him an honorable model, having along and bright artistic history.
On the other hand, Al-Fakhrani expressed his happiness with gaining the award from the brother country- United Arab Emirates.
The award was granted to him for the sake of humanity and tolerance.
Al-Fakhrani explained that the creative works are immortal and this award is the right evidence for being on the right track.
