WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced on Sunday that he has entered a self-quarantining, as he had been in contact with a person infected with the emerging coronavirus "Covid-19".
"I have been identified as a contact of someone who has tested positive for #COVID19," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a tweet.
"I am well and without symptoms but will self-quarantine over the coming days, in line with @WHO protocols, and work from home," he added. “My colleagues and I at WHO will continue to engage with partners to save lives and protect the vulnerable.”
