The National Meteorological Center in China issued warnings on Sunday of thunderstorms and floods in several areas in the south of the country.
The center forecasted that the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the south would experience thunderstorms, strong winds, and heavy rain, with severe weather conditions expected to continue until Monday, as reported by China Global Television Network (CGTN).
The network also noted that heavy rainfall over the past two days had trapped citizens inside their homes and disrupted transportation and train services in the south.
