CBE Suspends Work in Banks Wednesday, Closing Fiscal Year

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided, Sunday, to suspend work in all banks operating in Egypt, on Wednesday, January 1, on the occasion of the end of the fiscal year for banks operating in Egypt. 

The Central Bank of Egypt added, in a statement issued by it, that work is scheduled to resume on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 2.
