The Central Bank issued instructions regulating the mechanism for dealing with complaints submitted by customers at banks, according to what was approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting on Tuesday.
According to a circular issued to the Central Bank Wednesday on its website, the Central Bank obligated banks to implement the new instructions within 6 months of their issuance, which include rules for educating customers about submitting complaints, the mechanism for dealing with them, rules for processing and time periods for responding to complaints, and other instructions, according to what was stated in the periodic book.
