Etoile Du Sahel's 1-0 home win wasn't enough to secure them a spot in the CAF Champions League semi-finals as they fell 2-1 to on aggregate to WAC Casablanca who now heads on to face El-Ahly.

The confrontation began with intense pressure from Etoile, who tried to score an early goal in light of the massive retreat of Waddad, who showed his dependence on counter-attacks against Tunisian pressure.

Despite the great pressure the Tunisian giants, their attacks did not succeed in creating any real danger to Al-Tignawati's goal in light of the failure to take care of the players' final touch inside the penalty area.

The Tunisian side's first chance came against Wydad in the 21st minute of the first half, after Ihab Al-Masakeni fired a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, but it passed near the left post.

Another serious attack by Etoile Sahel was in the 27th minute after a cross that the Wydad defence cleared to deflect Amin bin Omar who fired a missile shot from outside the penalty area but passed over the bar.

The coastal star managed to score their first and the only goal in the 58th minute passed after a powerful shot by El-Shekhawy from outside the penalty area.

The star almost scored the second goal in the 60th minute of the match after a cross played by Al-Hanashi, but the Wydad goalkeeper saved it brilliantly.
