5 main sectors are included in the list of the sectors most contributing to the total government investments during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2019/2020. The list included crude oil, electricity, transportation, storage, real estate activities and other services, according to Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
CAPMAS revealed that the crude oil sector contributed by 10.3% during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2019/2020, compared to 1.8% in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2018/2019.
The electricity sector contributed by about 11.2%. In the third quarter of the year 20/19, compared to 9.4% in the corresponding quarter in the year 18/19.
The data indicate that the transport and storage sector recorded participation in government investments at a rate of 10.4%, compared to 8.9% during the comparison period. After them, the real estate activities sector came contributing by 9.5%, compared to 6.1% during the comparison period, according to CAPMAS .
Finally, the other services sector, which amounted to 13.4% , compared to 8.9% during the comparison period.
A group of sectors achieved varying increases during the third quarter of the year 2019-2020, among them construction and building with a value of 6.1%, compared to 5.3% during the corresponding period of the year 2018/2019.
The information sector participated in the government investments by 2% compared to 1.2% during the comparison period, and disbursement. The sanitation sector increased by 2.2%, compared to only 0.9% during the comparison period.
The percentage of manufacturing industries reached 11.1% in the year 2019/2020, compared to 12% in the corresponding quarter of the year 2018/2019.
The value of the agricultural sector's contribution was about 4.6%, compared to 5.8% during Comparison period.
