It delves into the authentic cultural traditions, and personal experiences to give the audience a deeper look into these styles of music.
Furthermore, the documentary sheds light on the progression of these musical styles by expirates who carry African, and Latin origins.
Through interviews with dozens of artists and musicians who opened about and spoke about their instruments, music journeys, gatherings, and cultures.
Several cultural occasions such as the carnivals and parades in Brazil, and the gatherings of musicians in New Orleans on stage to improvise.
The film moves smoothly to show the similarities between two cultures, keeping the audience's focus to dive into the cultural, and spiritual meanings behind these musical styles.
The filmmaker also concentrated on the daily life situations that reflect the essence of the film, and jazz music which is "Life Is Improvisational."
The film is directed by Jefferson Mello, author of 'The Ways of Jazz' book.
After the film, the Brazilian delegation participating in the Cairo Jazz Festival had an open talk with the audience about music, and their experience.
