The cabinet media center denied the reported layoffs of employees in EgyptAir, after a decision to merge the national flag carrier with other firms to reduce liabilities.
The center added in a statement on Wednesday that EgyptAir is make some structural reform in the fabric of the company to keep up with international standards, denying any reports of layoffs.
It emphasized that the national carrier seeks to raise the efficiency of its employees, while preserving their full rights.
