CAIRO, Mar. 26. (SEE)- During his visit to Egypt, the Bulgaria President Roman Radef and his wife as well as the accompanying delegation visited a number of archaeological sites in Cairo, including Salah El-Din Citadel and the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.
Dr. Jamal Mustafa head of the Islamic, Coptic and Jewish Antiquities Sector accompanied the President during his tour inside Salah El-Din Citadel. He reported that the visit continued to an hour and included various places inside the Citadel, especially, Mohammed Ali mosque and his shrine, where the president expressed his admiration for the building of mosque and listened to some religious candidacy by Sheikh Saeed El-Rifai. The tour ended at the castle panorama the President and his family were keen to take photographs.
Sabah Abd El-Raziq, Director General of the Egyptian Museum confirmed that the tour inside the museum included visiting a number of large halls in addition to explaining the archaeological sites. She refered to the guest president was impressed by the ancient Egyptian civilization and the unique antiques displayed inside the museum and expressing his respect for Egypt's history.
