British Government: 15,000 Russians Killed in Ukraine

The British government said that 15,000 Russians were killed in Ukraine, according to flash news broadcast by Al Arabiya.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov held a meeting with the US ambassador to Moscow, John Sullivan, on Monday.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated - in a press statement reported by (Russia Today) news channel - that the two sides discussed during the meeting some issues of a bilateral nature, without explaining further details.

This meeting is the highest one between Russia and the United States since Moscow launched its military operation in Ukraine on February 24.

The meeting comes against the backdrop of an unprecedented escalation in relations between Russia and the United States due to the events in Ukraine, and the imposition of unprecedented sanctions on Moscow by Washington and its allies.
