The United Kingdom announced on Tuesday a new package of military, humanitarian, and reconstruction aid for Ukraine, four years after the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
In a statement, the British government affirmed that the UK's security begins in Ukraine and that continued support will make Britain and Europe stronger and safer.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Keir Starmer is holding a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" with French President Emmanuel Macron, following their historic announcement in January with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of the UK's intention to deploy British troops to Ukraine once peace is achieved.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, "Our message to the Ukrainian people is clear: Britain is with you, stronger than ever. That is why we are announcing new support today, and we will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes. We will stand by them until a just and lasting peace is achieved."
