British police closed roads near the Heron Tower in central London on Monday, after receiving a tip-off that a suspicious parcel had been found near the building.
London Police said on Twitter: "We imposed a 200-meter-long cordon around the building, and closed roads in the vicinity to traffic and pedestrians.”
“Please avoid the area at this time,” the police added.
Heron Tower has been evacuated as investigations continue.
