Brazilian Olympic Team Tour Pyramids

Today, the Brazilian Olympic team delegation visited the Giza pyramids area, where Ashraf Mohi El-Din, Director General of the Pyramid Antiquities Zone, received and accompanied them on an archaeological tour.

Mohi El-Din said that the Brazilian team expressed their surprise at the enormity of the Great Pyramid, the way it was built and the number of its stones, and they also admired the ingenuity of the ancient Egyptian in sculpting the Great Sphinx.

At the end of the visit, the Brazilian team took memorial photos in the panorama area and front of the Great Sphinx, and they promised to visit the Giza pyramids again, with their families.

The Brazilian Olympic team visited the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, where they toured the museum’s various halls.

For her part, Sabah Abdel Razzak, Director General of the Museum, indicated that the members of the Olympic team began their tour by visiting the antiquities of the ancient state, where they showed their amazement with the statue of King Khafre and Ra Hotep and Nefert and the dwarf Seneb.

They also expressed their admiration for the accuracy of the sculpturing in ancient Egypt.

They also saw the King Tutankhamun group and expressed their great happiness to see the golden mask of the king, who is considered the world-famous icon of ancient Egyptian antiquities.
