European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Josep Borrell called for an immediate ceasefire in Sudan during the month of Ramadan, and the entry of aid without hindrance.
"I join UNSG and UNSC’s call for an immediate ceasefire and unhindered humanitarian access in Sudan to honour Ramadan," Borrell posted on X.
"The EU is ready to sanction those who undermine country’s stability and keeps working for a ceasefire and a political transition," he added.
