US Secretary of State Antony Blinken informed Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdulfatah Al-Burhan, that peace talks are the only way to end the crisis in Sudan and prevent the spread of famine.
The US Department of State added that Blinken reiterated during a phone call with the Sudanese Sovereign Council Chief the necessity for the Sudanese Armed Forces to participate in the ceasefire talks in Switzerland.
