The biggest country music festival in the US, CMA Fest has been canceled for the second successive year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the CMA association announced on Tuesday.
The festival’s organizers stated: “After thoughtful deliberation, we are saddened to share that CMA Fest will not take place in 2021.” It added: “We still face several challenges that prevent us from bringing our fans around the world the CMA Fest experience they have come to expect.”
People who purchased their tickets can keep them for the next edition or ask to refund their money.
The festival is used to be organized annually in Nashville, Tennessee.
Despite the beginning of vaccine rollouts around the world, the COVID-19 outbreak is still impacting festivals and in-person occasions.
