The White House announced Monday that President Joe Biden will visit Vietnam on September 10, to meet Prime Minister Nguyen Phu Trong and other officials to discuss deepening cooperation between the United States and Vietnam.
The White House said in a statement that Biden will discuss with officials in Vietnam opportunities to deepen the growth of the Vietnamese economy driven by innovation and technology, and ways to strengthen relations between the US and Vietnamese peoples through scientific exchange, labor force development programs, and combating climate change.
