US President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday the imposition of large tariffs on Chinese goods.
Biden wrote on X: I just imposed a series of tariffs on goods made in China: (25% on steel and aluminum - 50% on semiconductors - 100% on electric vehicles, and 50% on solar panels).
He added, “China is determined to control these industries, and I am determined to ensure that America leads the world in these areas.”
