On Monday, US President Joe Biden arrived in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, to attend a NATO summit that focuses on military support for Ukraine.
The presidential plane, Air Force One, landed in the afternoon at the international airport of the Lithuanian capital, coming from London, where Biden met earlier, King Charles III, and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Biden had said earlier that Ukraine is not ready for membership in NATO, indicating that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine must end before the alliance can consider including Kyiv within its ranks.
The US president revealed that he spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at length about this issue, where he said he told him that the United States would continue to provide weapons to Ukraine.
