Dr. Mostafa el Feki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina announced that Zahi Hawass Center for Egyptology will announce , in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, a new archaeological discovery next Saturday, April 10, at 9 am Cairo local time in the Habu area in Luxor.
El-Feki praised the effort exerted by Dr. Zahi Hawass and a team of Egyptian scientists and workers, in light of the difficult climatic conditions in desert areas to discover the secrets and treasures of the ancient Egyptian civilization that dazzles the whole world.
El-Feki stressed that the countries of the world dig for water and oil, but Egypt is digging for history and civilization.
He noted that what is currently happening on the land of Luxor is an affirmation of Egyptian patriotism, respect for heritage, and reverence for our national history in its various stages.
El-Feki added that this discovery would contribute in revealing the secrets of the ancient Egyptian civilization and revealing the mystery of different eras, pointing out that each new discovery disclose a lot of information and knowledge that was unavailable before.
El-Feki indicated that all local and international channels, newspapers and news agencies will be invited to broadcast this event globally.
