Barcelona is bracing for their upcoming Clásico against Real Madrid amidst a mounting injury crisis.

With just six days remaining before their much-anticipated clash against Real Madrid, Barcelona is facing significant challenges. The two Spanish giants are set to face each other in the El Clásico on Saturday, 28th October, as part of the 11th round of La Liga fixtures, at the Luis Companys Olympic Stadium.

Barcelona's preparation for this game is less than ideal. The team is grappling with the absence of several key players. As they ready themselves to face Athletic Bilbao in the 10th round today, Sunday, which precedes the Real Madrid game, the Blaugrana's challenges are evident.

The squad list announced by Barcelona's coach, Xavi Hernandez, for the Bilbao match reveals the depth of the problem. A total of 7 players are missing due to injury, with only 6 days left before the monumental Clásico.

Among those sidelined for Barcelona are Frenkie de Jong, Robert Lewandowski, Pedri (mentioned twice), Ousmane Dembélé, Sergi Roberto, and Rafinha.

So far, there has been no announcement from Barcelona regarding the recovery or availability of any of the aforementioned injured players, making their situation even more precarious leading up to the Real Madrid clash.

Currently, in La Liga, Barcelona is placed fourth with 21 points. Bilbao sits in the sixth position with 17 points. Real Madrid leads the table, holding the top spot with 25 points.
