The Assets and Liabilities Committee of Banque Misr decided on Thursday to maintain the monthly return rate on the three-year platinum certificates at 11%.
This follows the decision of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Egypt, which announced after its meeting on Thursday that it had maintained the overnight deposit rate at 8.25%, the overnight lending rate at 9.25%, and its main operating at 8.75%.
It also kept the credit and discount rates at 8.75%.
