Egyptian actress Aya Samaha has signed on to star in the TV series "Ana W Sebai".
The series is set to debut in the off-season and witnesses the second collaboration between Samaha and rapper Shaheen.
The duo previously collaborated in the story "Kamla" from the star-studded TV series "Hadath Bel Fael".
"Hadath Bel Fael" is a thriller genre based on 101 true events stories about mental disorders that took place in 9 Arab countries.
The series sheds light on many disorders and their causes as well as how it affects the lives of patients lives and those around them.
It is the first to depict stories of that nature in the Arab world and is divided into separate stories with new casts boasted from the likes of Ghada Abdel Razek, Maged El Masry, and Cynthia Khalifa. It is scripted by Fadi Al-Najjar and directed by Hisham Al-Rashidi.
Samaha, born on March 31, 1992, started her acting career with the 2016 film "Hepta: The Last Lecture". However, she received more onscreen time in the Egyptian mystery drama TV series "Grand Hotel" in 2016, where she appeared in all 30 episodes.
In 2020, she starred in Netfix's series "Paranormal", based on Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's supernatural novel "Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa".
Her TV credits also include "Malika", "Rageen Ya Hawa", "Seeb Wana Aseeb", "El Soffara", and “Ala Bab Al-Omara”.
