Australia announced that it will open its borders to vaccinated foreign nationals starting from February 21.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Monday: "The Cabinet decided to reopen the borders for all visa holders, starting from February 21," stressing: "if you're double vaccinated, we look forward to welcoming you back to Australia."
Morrison also stressed that the health restrictions and border measures adopted by the country's local state governments will be applied on all arrivals to Australia.
Australia closed its borders to foreigners in March 2020 due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic around the world.
