Syrian megastar, Assala Nasri dropped on Tuesday her much-anticipated album, "Thumma Ana" via Spotify.
On June 17, the acclaimed singer gave a preview for the record by releasing the track and visual for "Insan", which serves as the first release from the record.
It is produced by Rotana Music Group and consists of 10 songs Gulf dialect, including two Iraqi songs.
In the new album, Nasri cooperates with new collaborations with composers Nasser Al-Saleh, Ahmed Al Hermi, Qaws, Azouf, and more.
Nasri dropped her last album "Leheqt Nafsy" in two parts, with the first arriving in October 2023 and the second in February 2024.
Born on May 15, 1969, the superstar is one of the best female singers in the Middle East. She made her music debut with the 1991 album “Law Ta’rafou”.
The album featured four songs in the oriental operatic tarab style and was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like “Ya Sabra Yana” and “Samehtak Ketir”.
Nasri quickly proved her presence in a growing industry brimming with new, young talent such as Saber Rebai, Angham, and Abdelmajeed Abdullah.
