Asia Swimming Federation hold general assembly meeting in Muscat

The Asian Swimming Federation held its regular general assembly meeting in Muscat yesterday, headed by the President of the Asian Swimming Federation Sheikh Khalid Al-Badr.

The assembly was held in the presence of the representative of the International Swimming Federation, representatives of the other four continents, and the participation of heads and representatives of 43 national federations from the continent of Asia.

The meeting discussed many topics, the most important of which is the holding of the elections for representatives of the Asian continent for the board of directors of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), where the "Asian" announced its support and support for the nomination of Hussein Al-Musallam, Secretary of the Kuwait Olympic Committee.

Representatives of the Asian continent are also included in these elections through the candidacy of Zhihong Zhou of China for the position of Vice President, Taha bin Suleiman Al Koshary of the Sultanate of Oman for membership of the Board of Directors, Andrey Kryukov of Kazakhstan, Daichi Suzuki of Japan, and Virendra Nanavati of India.
