Arsenal Reach Agreement with Bologna on Calafiori

On Saturday, it was reported that Arsenal reached an agreement with Bologna to sign the Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori.

Bologna want up to £46 million for the player but Arsenal have offered £37million for the 22-year-old.

Bologna hope to make use of Calafiori's selling profit to sign Kiwior who joined Arsenal.

Calafiori rises quickly over the past year and showed impressive performance with Italy Euro 2024.

Bologna also have separately opened talks with Juventus for Daniele Rugani, the centre back.

Calafiori felt somehow confusion as the preparations for the new season will start by the weekend. 

Arsenal, who will on tour to the United States next week, regained their interest for Calafiori after being priced out of a move for Marc Guéhi.

It was also reported that Calafiori told the Gunners that he would like to play for them, despite the diversity of offers from La Liga, and English Premier League.
