Arsenal have officially confirmed the signing of England international Eberechi Eze on a long-term deal, with the 27-year-old midfielder returning to North London, where his football journey first began.

Eze rose to prominence at Queens Park Rangers before joining Crystal Palace in 2020, where he went on to make over 150 appearances for the Eagles.

His spell at Selhurst Park reached its peak last May when he scored the decisive winner against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

On the international stage, Eze has earned 11 caps for England since making his debut in 2023.

He was part of Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 squad and netted his first goal for the Three Lions in March during a World Cup 2026 qualifier against Latvia.

Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta hailed the signing as a “special addition” to the squad, praising Eze’s creativity and international pedigree.

Manager Mikel Arteta echoed the sentiment, stating the midfielder will bring “a new dimension” to the team’s attacking style.

Eze is set to wear the No. 10 shirt for the Gunners and will link up with his new teammates after their weekend clash with Leeds United, pending completion of final registration details.
